Melissa McCarson

Melissa McCarson has called the upstate of South Carolina home since 1984. Her family moved around a lot when she was young because of her father’s work. They came to the upstate when Melissa was beginning high school and they loved it. Melissa loves the upstate so much that when her father had his next work transfer to North Carolina she decided to stay in the area, this is where she felt had roots. She lived in the Powdersville area until 2009 when she moved to Greer and has been there ever since.

She studied at the Wyatt Institute Real Estate School. Prior to joining the Expert Real Estate Team, she worked in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry for a Tier 1 supplier for over 20 years. She worked multiple positions in the Sales Department, her most recent role was Sales Engineer for Advanced/New Programs.

Melissa understands what it is like to move to a new home whether it is from a close town or from a few states away. She wants to help you by providing the smoothest transaction and best experience possible. With the education she has received, ongoing training and always working to stay informed about the marketplace she can help you buy or sell your home. She wants to educate you as well so that you have all the information available to you to make the best decisions for you and your family.

She was instilled with a strong work ethic and above all she values honesty and integrity. She loves meeting new people and appreciates that we are all unique and have something different to offer. She strives to live by the “golden rule” and to treat others the way she would like to be treated.

In her spare time, Melissa and her husband, Brian, enjoy spending time with family. She likes to watch college football, to get out and explore the upstate whether it is a Sunday ride through the mountains, finding cute little towns, hiking or visiting one of the many lakes in the area. One of her favorite things to do is catching one of those beautiful Carolina sunsets!
