The City Of Landrum was incorporated in 1883 and founded in 1880. Located between Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina just west of I26. Landrum has the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop. Residents and visitors alike enjoy drives along scenic roads, strolling through unique antique and specialty shops, and dining in Landrum‘s quaint eateries. The first homesteaders began settling in the Landrum area around 1760. They came from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia seeking fertile free land.
