Greer, SC has become one the more popular Upstate communities to call home – and for many good reasons. Greer plays an integral role in the overall economy of both Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Greer is the site chosen by BMW for its North American automobile manufacturing operations, which has brought thousands of jobs to the Upstate. Greer is also home to Michelin, another one of the Upstate's largest employers. Michelin’s North American corporate headquarters is located just off I-85 near the Greenville-Spartanburg airport.
